DOUBLE ACTION CLEANING
Magnetized particles form a perpendicular or fan shape pattern on the surface
of the drum which acts to "comb out" any free abrasive or other materials as
the drum rotates, resulting in a double cleaning action.
LARGE CONTACT AREA
Barnesdrill Magnetic Coolant Separator provides approximately 275 square inches
of magnetic drum surface in contact with the loaded coolant at all times. This
contact area is provided for a total flow distance of 27 1/2" through the
highly concentrated magnetic field, in 20 GPM size.
RAPID SEPARATION
Coolant is processed rapidly, flowing through the Separator by gravity, for
effective circulation at all times. No additional coolant supply is required
to compensate for the cleaning operation.
SQUEEGEE-ACTION FOR SEMI-DRY SWARF
As sludge is scraped off drum for discharge into sludge pan, a tension
adjusted neoprene or brass roller squeezes the swarf into a semi-dry state for
easier handling. This feature also reclaims a substantial volume of coolant
which might otherwise be lost.
