Miter Cutting Column and blade tilt up to 45° right and left of vertical; work always stationary. Built-in protractor.
Quick-Action Vise Maximum opening 18” (457 mm). Jaws can be shifted to either right or left side of blade. Jaws are 6” (152 mm) high, 12” (305 mm) wide.
Saw Feed Stops Adjustable stops can be pre-set to stop advance of the saw head and return of blade and to stop motor at any location within the 18” (457 mm) travel of the blade.
Coolant System Built in with Flood system, available with added optional drop lubrication system. (Requires compressed air connection - Option Code ML2). Controlled by on-off selector switch at operator’s station. Tank capacity 21 gallons (79 liters).
Flushing Hose Washes chips from hard-to-get-at places reducing clean-up time.
Power Chip Brush Together with blade wipers and flood coolant keep blade teeth free of chips.
Carbide Guide System Guides are stationary and can be rotated to present new guiding surface to the blade. Upper and lower guides have preloaded carbide-faced back-up blocks to support back edge of the blade.
Blade 14' 6" (4420 mm) long x 1" (25 mm) wide, .035" (89 mm) thick. One Welded-Edge Band Blade is furnished with each machine.
Motors Main; 5 H.P. (3.75 kW), 1800 RPM, totally enclosed fan cooled. Coolant Pump; 1/8 H.P. (.1 kW) totally enclosed motor-built-in integrally. Available voltage: 208-volt, 230 volt, 460, 3-phase.
Controls IEC fused disconnect switch and magnetic motor starters, with overload and low voltage
protection. Disconnect is NFPA79 compliant. Transformer provides low voltage control
(120 Volts) to all push buttons at operator’s control panel and machine lighting circuits.
Electrical and control components mounted in a NEMA 12 compartment. Electrical
Panel is UL labeled #E56388.

Blade Eagle Beak VTR Eagle Beak VTR blade 14' 6" long x 1" wide, 3/6 tooth pitch. This is the standard blade that is included with machine purchase and you have the option to order more. Note: if M6 High Column option is selected blade price needs to be adjusted.
M6 High Column Column 6” (150 mm) longer than standard, providing increased vertical capacity to 28” (712 mm) at vertical position and 17” high at 45 degrees. High frame machines require a 15’ 6” (4724 mm) blade.
E4 Second Standard Vise set including 6” high x 12” wide (152 mm x 305 mm) jaws and clamping hardware. PERMITS MITER CUTTING.
M7 High Jaws 10” high x 12” wide (254 mm x 305 mm) in place of standard jaws provided with machine. Jaws use same clamping hardware provided with machine. DO NOT PERMIT MITER CUTTING.

SP2083 Optional High-Speed Modification 120 – 1080 fpm (36 – 329 m/min); main motor changed to 10 H.P., totally enclosed, fan cooled. Only available in 460-3-60-volt machine order.
ML2 Mist Lube - Automatic Drop Lubrication System. (Requires compressed air connection 60-120psi)
ED2210 Unist Coolube 2210 Unist Coolube 2210 is the cutting oil and lubricant that is shipped within your ML2 (Mist drop lubrication system). It is formulated as a metal cutting oil and lubricant for metals, wood, rubber, and most plastics. It is 100% natural, non-toxic, non-staining, and will not oxidize (become sticky or leave a residue). Coolube 2210 cutting fluid does not contain any ingredients currently recognized as hazardous by OSHA, IARC or NIP. Coolube 2210 machining oil will never cause dermatitis and is formulated from cosmetic grade raw materials, which makes it entirely worker and environmentally safe. Coolube 2210 is a USDA certified biobased product.
E8 Length Gauge For gauging work pieces from .062” to 10.5” (1.6 mm x 267 mm) long. Fits T-slots in machine table.

8/F055 First Section Dead Roller Conveyor 5’ 0” (1524 mm) LONG, with five ball bearing rollers, 2.5” (64 mm) diameter, spaced on 12” (305 mm) centers, two stands, one end stop, and mounting bracket. Used as first section on either loading or discharge side of machine.
8/X055 Extension Dead Roller Conveyor 5’ 0” (1524 mm) LONG, five ball bearing rollers, 2.5” (64 mm) diameter, spaced on 12” (305 mm) centers, one stand, attached to an 8/F055, an SP1118, or another X055 for use on either loading or discharge side of machine to extend the length of the roller tables needed.
SP1118 First Section Dead Roller Conveyor Free Standing 5’ 0” (1524 mm) LONG, with five ball bearing rollers, 2.5” (64 mm) diameter, spaced on 12” centers, two stands, and one end stop.
8/SP1040 First Section Dead Roller Conveyor with Manual Length Gauge 10’ 0” (3048 mm) LONG, ten ball bearing rollers, 2.5” (64 mm) diameter, spaced on 12” (305 mm) centers, includes Dead Stop, Tilting Type Gauge; manually operated. Runs along tape and rail fastened to front side of Roller Table. Gauge can be locked in place for gauging and tilted out of the way to permit work passage. Indicate Left or Right configuration.
8/SP1097 Extension Dead Roller Conveyor with Gauge Rail 5’ 0” (1524 mm) LONG, five ball bearing rollers, 2.5” (64 mm) diameter, spaced on 12” (305 mm) centers, like X055, but also equipped with gauge rail and measuring tape extensions. For use with and as an EXTENSION to SP1040. Indicate Left or Right configuration.
SUPPLEMENTARY MATERIAL HANDLING EQUIPMENT
E10 Length Gauge Manual light-duty length gauge. Securely mounts on roller conveyor. Gauging limited by length of roller conveyor.
E11 Coolant Pan Will fit F055 and X055 roller conveyors. Collects and returns coolant back to machine. Includes pan, V-trough, and hangers.
E12 Eccentric Lift Roller May be mounted on roller conveyor for either load or discharge sides; manually operated to raise roller and material slightly above machine table. Lift capacity 1,000 pounds.
E13 Additional Rollers For added support; can be installed between standard rollers.
8SP011144 Remote Control Assembly Provides a free-standing control pedestal with 6 feet of cable in place of the standard mounted controls.
575-3-60 VOLT OPTION If ordering the 575-volt machine, it will be wired for 480-volt operation and a transformer will be provided with the machine. A qualified electrician will be needed to install the transformer between the power supply and the machine.
220-1-60 VOLT OPTION A Phase-A-Matic phase converter is shipped with the machine and requires a qualified electrician to wire it at installation and a 40 AMP service is required. Price is net price FOB factory to all purchasers. (#8PE19902)
